Narasaraopeta Engineering College (Autonomous), through its Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organized a two-day “HYPERLOOP” Hackathon for first-year B.Tech students on 5th and 6th May 2026 at the college campus, with the support of ByteXL.
The event was aimed at fostering innovation, teamwork, and practical learning among students by providing hands-on exposure to real-world coding and software development challenges. The program commenced with an intensive workshop on programming fundamentals, real-time problem-solving techniques, and modern software development practices. These sessions helped students strengthen their technical foundation and prepared them for the competitive hackathon challenge.
As part of the 24-hour hackathon, students worked in teams to design and develop innovative solutions, showcasing their creativity, technical expertise, collaboration, and analytical thinking. The event created an energetic and engaging learning environment that encouraged participants to think beyond classroom concepts and apply their knowledge to practical scenarios.
The hackathon also provided students with valuable exposure to innovation-driven learning methodologies while enhancing their confidence in addressing real-time technological challenges. Faculty mentors and coordinators guided the participants throughout the event, ensuring a productive and enriching experience for all teams.
The college management appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee, faculty coordinators, and student volunteers for the successful execution of the event. The Principal, Dean R&D, and Training Head congratulated all the participants and encouraged students to actively engage in such innovation-oriented activities in the future to further strengthen their technical and problem-solving skills.
Winning teams were awarded prizes and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performance, innovative ideas, and technical excellence. The event concluded with a valedictory session followed by a vote of thanks, marking the successful completion of the “HYPERLOOP” Hackathon 2026.
