Learning is a life-long process. Library provides lifelong self-education. It increases knowledge. . The role is aimed at realizing the educational goals of the college or the parent organization. Library is considered as a “Vital resource center”, “Heart of an academic institution”, “Ocean of knowledge” and “Backbone of educational institution”. The library is key to the knowledge of the world. In the words of Dr. Shiyali Ramamrita Ranganathan, father of library and information science in India “Libraries not mere store houses, they are rich in springs from which knowledge flow sought to irrigate the wide field of education and culture”.

Library of Narasaraopeta Engineering College plays a significant role of engineering education for circulation of up-to-date information provider to the users. This center of learning, playing an important role in sustaining and satisfying the information requirements of parent institution. The library primary responsible for the selection and collection of print, electronic books and journals appropriate for college. The library provide the right information at the right time to the right user to save the time of the user. NEC library encourages lifelong self-learning habits.

Our Library System consists of a Central Library and 10 other departmental libraries that collectively support the teaching, research and extension programmes of our institute. All our students, faculty members, and employees are entitled to avail the facilities of the Central Library.
