The merit students of I B.Tech at Narasaraopeta Engineering College (NEC) were provided with a valuable opportunity to participate in a 24-hour hackathon titled “Hyperloop”, aimed at fostering innovation and hands-on learning in web development.
To prepare students for the event, a preparatory workshop was conducted on 5th May 2026, focusing on the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The session helped students build a strong foundation through guided activities and mini-projects aligned with real-world applications.
The Hyperloop Hackathon was formally inaugurated on 5th May 2026 at 9:20 AM by the Honourable Principal, Dr. S. Venkateswarlu, in the presence of Vice Principal Dr. Sunil Sunele, R&D Dean Dr. Srinivasu, and Training Head Dr. Ananda Oliveti.
The event was further graced by the presence of Honourable Chairman Mr. M. V. Koteswara Rao, Honourable Vice Chairman Mr. M. S. Chakravarthy, and Honourable Secretary Mr. Ramesh Babu.
The 24-hour hackathon commenced on 6th May 2026 at 9:00 AM and concluded on 7th May 2026 at 9:00 AM. During this period, students worked intensively on innovative web-based solutions, addressing real-time problem statements through collaboration and continuous problem-solving.
This initiative provided an excellent platform for students to explore emerging technologies, enhance creativity, and develop practical skills in web development, reinforcing NEC’s commitment to experiential and future-ready learning.
