Industrial Visit to Mahanandi PVC Pipes
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Narasaraopeta Engineering College (Autonomous) organized an industrial visit to Mahanandi PVC Pipes, located in Nakarikallu, Palnadu, on 21 July 2026.
The visit was conducted to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industrial practices by providing students with first-hand exposure to modern manufacturing processes and production systems. During the visit, students observed various stages involved in the manufacturing of PVC pipes, including raw material processing, extrusion, quality testing, and packaging.
Industry experts interacted with the students and explained the latest technologies, quality control measures, safety standards, and operational practices followed in the manufacturing unit. The session enabled students to gain valuable insights into real-world industrial operations and understand the practical applications of mechanical engineering concepts.
Such industrial visits are an integral part of the curriculum at Narasaraopeta Engineering College, helping students enhance their technical knowledge, industry awareness, and career readiness through experiential learning.
