The IQAC and Department of Mechanical Engineering, Narasaraopeta Engineering College (Autonomous), in association with ICT Academy, organized a three-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Design Thinking” from 15th June 2026 to 17th June 2026.
A total of 30 faculty members from various disciplines actively participated in the program. The FDP was conducted by Ms. S. Hephzibha, Lead Communication Skills Trainer and People Communication Lead, ICT Academy.
On Day 1, the resource person introduced the concepts of Critical Thinking and Design Thinking, emphasizing their importance in problem-solving, innovation, creativity, and learner-centric approaches in higher education. The interactive session provided valuable insights into applying design thinking methodologies to address real-world challenges effectively.
