Department of Mechanical Engineering Organised Industrial Visit to CIPET Vijayawada

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Narasaraopeta Engineering College, Narasaraopet, organised an industrial visit to CIPET, Vijayawada on 18 February 2026 for second year and third year students. The visit was arranged to provide practical exposure to industrial processes and manufacturing practices.

Around 88 students participated in the visit. They observed various machining and moulding processes, modern equipment and quality control methods. The technical experts at CIPET explained the procedures and shared insights into current industry standards.

The visit helped students relate classroom learning to real time industrial applications. It also gave them better awareness of career opportunities in the manufacturing and polymer sectors.
