The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Narasaraopeta Engineering College, Narasaraopet, organised an offline six week skill based training programme in SolidWorks and CATIA for 3D modelling and engineering applications. The programme was held from 22 October 2025 to 02 December 2025 in association with MSME Tool Room, CITD, Vijayawada.

The sessions were conducted by Mr B Vinil, Design Engineer at CITD, and Mr Shaik Kabir Shaw, CAD CAM Engineer at CITD.

A total of 80 students participated in the programme, including 43 third year students and 37 fourth year students.
