Narasaraopet Engineering College celebrates its 7th Graduation Day, honouring the Class of 2024 across various departments. With guidance from industry veterans, graduates are encouraged to carry forward resilience, continuous learning, and the NEC legacy into their professional lives.
As the day transitioned to the Graduation Ceremony, the spotlight turned to the Class of 2024. Mr. Srikanth Surampudi, General Manager and Regional HR Head at TCS, shared his insights from 29 years of industry experience. He urged the graduates to stay adaptable and embrace continuous learning in the dynamic corporate world. His advice to them was, “Your degree is a steppingstone—let resilience, empathy, and a growth mindset define your success."
During the ceremony, degrees were awarded to students from various departments, including Engineering, MBA, MCA, and M.Tech, celebrating their academic achievements. Chairman Mr. Venkata Koteswara Rao also encouraged the graduates to join the NEC Alumni Association and take pride in being part of the NEC legacy. Vice Chairman Mr. Chakravarty urged the graduates to carry the name and reputation of NEC wherever they go and to become responsible citizens contributing to the nation’s growth.
Principal Dr. S. Venkateswarlu urged the graduates to extend their support in training and placements for their juniors. He also encouraged them to stay connected with the college by visiting regularly to share their experiences and insights with the next generation of students. Controller of Examinations, Prof. Mahesh, announced the number of graduates by program and department, further adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
The event concluded with a heartfelt felicitation ceremony for the esteemed guests, recognizing their invaluable contributions. The day ended on a high note with the national anthem, echoing throughout the venue, symbolizing pride, unity, and the promise of a bright future for NEC’s students and graduates alike.
