CSE(Cyber Security)
Short-Term Goals
· Teach students the core principles of cyber security.
· Guide the students to identify, analyse, and mitigate various cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
· Develop students’ ability to effectively communicate their technical ides and collaborate in team environments.
· Familiarise students with current technological trends and breakthroughs such as AI in cyber defence, block chain security, cloud security.
· Motivate the students in national and international hack-a-thons, seminars and conferences.
· Facilitate workshops, guest lectures and seminars in collaboration with industry experts to provide practical exposure in current applications.
Long-Term Goals
· Establish the department as a Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security education and research.
· Motivate and guide the students to start their own start-ups and innovations.
· Promote research and consultancy activities in the department.
· Encourage faculty to take up funded research projects from various organizations.
· Expand lab infrastructure to support advanced research and training in the area of Cyber Security.
