Narasaraopeta Engineering College (Autonomous) successfully conducted a one-week Faculty Development Program (FDP) from 13th to 19th June 2025 on “Applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), and Large Language Models (LLMs) in Core Engineering Branches and Humanities.”
The expert resource person, Dr. Venkateswara Rao Tirumalasetty, Adjunct Professor at VIT University, Pune, and former Academic Advisor at APSSDC, led insightful sessions focused on the integration of emerging technologies in engineering education.
Organised by the departments of CSE(AIML), CSE(CS), and CSE(DS) in collaboration with IQAC, the FDP attracted faculty participants from multiple departments. The event emphasised the practical use of AI-based tools in pedagogy and curriculum development.
The program was successfully coordinated under the guidance of the principal and dedicated faculty coordinators, enriching faculty skills and enhancing tech-enabled teaching methodologies.
