Narasaraopeta Engineering College has been designated as Research Centre by JNTUK, Kakinada. Hon’ble Principal Dr.M.Sreenivasa Kumar, Principal, announced that it is a proud moment for the NEC in its history of academia and is an accomplishment to be given permission to establish research centers in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering & Mechanical Engineering Branches. He added that approval for the research center had been granted after seriously scrutinizing the Digital library, advanced computer labs, Robotics Centre, IoT Lab, Dassault Lab, etc, M.S. Chakravarthy, Vice Chairman of NEC stated that the faculty of NEC can now mentor research scholars and increase their research-driven activities.
The Vice Chancellor of JNTUK Prof. G.V.R. Prasada Raju, the Rector Dr. K.V. Ramana, the Registrar Dr. L Sumalatha, and the Research Director Dr. V. Ravindra presented Mr.M.Ramesh, Secretary of NEC and the Principal congratulated NEC with a letter of approval. The research center, according to Sri. M.V. Koteswara Rao and M.S. Chakravarthy are yet another achievement for NEC, and they conveyed their sincere gratitude to JNTUK on this occasion.
