In coordination with Konaac Diagnostics, Narasaraopett, the IQAC and NSS Units of NEC arranged a Free Diabetic Test Program on the eve of World Diabetic Day, which is observed annually on November 14. In this regard, our Honorable Principal Dr. M.Sreenivasa Kumar informed the students that type-2 diabetes affects 5 crore people nationwide and that it is steadily becoming worse. 150 participants, including staff members and students, got tested at the event.
In this regard, Sri. Chitti Babu Garu, a representative of Konaac Diagnostics, stated that the symptoms of diabetes include weight loss, increased appetite, vision loss, and fatigue, all of which may be treated with the appropriate medication.
Finally, the Konaac Diagnostics representatives Sri.B.Gopi Babu and Ch. Raja, NSS Program Officer I.Sridhar, and NSS volunteers were acknowledged by our management and principal for organizing this program.
