In the Department of ECE, Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineering (IEEE) Students Branch Chapter (IEEE – SBC (IES) – NEC) was inaugurated on 17thFeb, 2018 by honourable chief guest Mr. D. Rama Krishna, Founder and CEO of EFFTRONICS SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED, Vijayawada, India. For Students Branch Chapter 19 students, 3 professors are registered from ECE and CSE dept. Our SBC has an access to Industrial electronics Society with many professional benefits.
For this inaugural event, Sri. M. V. Koteswara Rao, Chairman, NEC, Sri M.S. Chakravarthi, Vice-Chairman, NEC, Sri M. Ramesh Babu, Secretary, NEC and Dr. D. Suneel, Principal, NEC are attended as Guests and opening remarks by Co-ordinator of IEEE – SBC Dr. Prakash Kodali, Dr. V. Venkata Rao, Convener, and co-convener Dr. S. N. Trirumala Rao. On this occasion Chief Guest Mr. D. Rama Krishna talked about the importance of the IEEE membership and activities to follow-up for students branch chapter team. The premium inaugural event fallowed by a talk on “Present Trends on IoT, Industry Requirements in Current Technology”. The exposure was carried to students and NEC group faculty on current trends and requirements by the guest speaker Sri D. Rama Krishna.
