Narasaraopeta, October 9, 2026: Narasaraopeta Engineering College (Autonomous) is organising Agent-X 2026, a 24-hour AI hackathon on October 9 and 10, preceded by an intensive AI bootcamp on October 8.
The event brings together 164 final-year students across 41 teams, with participants from Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Information Technology (IT), and Emerging Technologies (ET), including specialisations such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) and Computer Science and Data Science (CSDS).
Exploring AI and Emerging Technologies
Agent-X 2026 focuses on key areas of artificial intelligence and Python-based development, including:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) Agents
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- AI Prompt Engineering
- AI Tools and Applications in the Python Environment
The hackathon gives participating students an opportunity to work in teams, explore AI technologies and develop solutions to technical challenges under the guidance of industry experts. Each team consists of four students.

The programme is scheduled across three days, beginning with a bootcamp and continuing with the 24-hour hackathon.

- Project Presentations and Prize Distribution: October 10, 2026, from 9:00 AM
The event also includes midnight activities such as a campfire, music and other fun activities, providing participants with opportunities to relax and strengthen team bonds during the hackathon.
