Narasaraopeta Engineering College (Autonomous) celebrated Graduation Day for the 2022–26 batch, marking an important milestone for students as they completed their engineering education and prepared to begin the next phase of their lives.
The ceremony brought together graduating students, parents, faculty members and the college management. Mr. Naveen Kumar Linga, Founder and CEO of WexL, attended the event as the Chief Guest.
Addressing the graduates, Chairman Sri Mittapalli Venkata Koteswara Rao spoke about the importance of looking beyond a degree. He encouraged students to carry forward the discipline, values and personality development gained during their college years and to work towards becoming responsible citizens.
Vice-Chairman Mr. Chakravarthi Mittapalli highlighted the placement opportunities provided to NEC students, noting that the college recorded more than 1,380 placements during 2025 and 2026. He encouraged the graduates to make use of the opportunities ahead, continue improving their skills and stay connected with the NEC community.
Secretary Sri Mittapalli Ramesh Babu spoke about the importance of hard work, particularly in a changing employment environment. He also highlighted the need for students to strengthen their skills and make the most of the opportunities available to them.
Director Smt. Mittapalli Suhasini acknowledged the role played by parents and faculty members in the students’ academic journey and encouraged graduates to move forward with confidence, ethical values and a sense of social responsibility.
Principal Dr. S. Venkateswarlu encouraged the graduating students to continue developing their academic and professional abilities through research, innovation, industry exposure, training and practical learning.
Chief Guest Mr. Naveen Kumar Linga reminded the graduates that completing a degree is only the beginning. He encouraged them to keep learning, strengthen their technical and communication skills, develop problem-solving abilities and remain open to new opportunities.
The event also included the formal conferring of degrees, the Graduation Pledge and recognition of academic excellence and placement achievements. Students who secured high-paying job offers, along with their parents, were also felicitated on the occasion.
The presence of the college management, faculty, graduates and parents made the occasion a memorable one for the Class of 2022–26.
